A 16-year-old girl had told her friends that she was going on a secret weekend date with an older man. The Mail online reported that after being reported missing, her body was found in crashed car scene. Forensic experts assigned to that scene say that her injuries did not match those of a car crash at all.
The girl’s body was found in the back seat of a black Vauxhall Astra in Enderby, Leicestershire. The car had hit a motorbike. The collision had happened at around 11 am on Sunday.
The rider escaped death narrowly while the men driving the car escaped with minor injuries.
The girl, Megan, would have sat for her first GCSE this year. She wanted to be a midwife later in life. Her friends say that she and the cheat who smashed her dreams of ever helping bring other lives into this world had previously met at a club.
Until the time of her death, Megan used to live with her mom (aged 49), her dad (aged 54) and her sister (aged 25) in Leicester. When issuing a police statement, the family said that Megan’s death comes as a blow because they love her so much.
“The thought of life without Megan is impossible to imagine, and we cannot adequately express in words the sense of numbness and overwhelming…”
They also mentioned that Megan was so beautiful, talented, and was surely going to touch the lives of many- “She was bright, clever, and a responsible person who loved her family and her many friends. She had a strong self-will and had set her heart on training to becoming a midwife…’Knowing how confident and determined she was, we have no doubt she would have realized that dream. ”
Her mom said that Megan had told her that she was going to spend the weekend at a friend’s house. She also recalled that Megan had been taken for ‘a mug’ about two months ago.
Her sister, kirsten took to Facebook with a saddening tribute to her sister. She included family pictures taken with Megan during happy family times.
"Megan was our beautiful, talented, loving daughter and sister, and our hearts have been utterly broken by her death.“…
The Leicestershire police department issued a report saying that two male suspects, aged 27 and 28, are already in custody. Also in relation to this murder, two home addresses are under scrutiny by forensics and police.
A resident of the place where the crash happened said that initially, they had believed that the girl had died from the crash. She said that it scares residents so much, now that the police have said that this is not so.
