Can Cars Swim Too?

We all know it’s rather hot out West, a lot of the times reaching within the triple digits during the Summertime, but I sure didn’t think that cars needed a cooldown!  A seventy-three-year-old woman took a complete nosedive into a private swimming pool out in Colorado, just outside the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.  It has been noted that the poor woman accidently hit the gas pedal instead of hitting the brakes and away we go, right?

The funny thing is, before this older woman took her “famous” nosedive into a private pool, she had actually hit another car, which made her propel very quickly up a hill!  When that happened, the poor lady’s car actually went airborne, soaring her car through a resident’s fence and into the private swimming pool!  Could you imagine how scary, embarrassing and then humous that would be?  Imagine all of that happening within one setting and going through emotions of fright and anger because your car is completely wet and damaged.  On top of everything else, a person would probably feel like laughing after the incident was all said and done because of the way the coincidence happened.

Who in the world goes flying through the air, hitting a fence, and nosediving into a private swimming pool?  Now, that’s something which only seems to happen in action packed movies, am I right?  What makes the incident even worse is the fact that the woman was driving at a speed of sixty miles per hour!  Could you even imagine?  Great news that there wasn’t anyone in the pool at the time due to it being closed.  A bystander with the name of Corey Youso saw the accident occur and jumped in to save the lady before she drowned.  The lady couldn’t get her seatbelt unfastened, so the bystander broke through the window to save her!

Although that wasn’t funny, still at the end of the day; the accident at whole was quite humorous as to how it happened.  Luckily, the lady wasn’t injured during this freak accident, but she was taken to the hospital only as a precaution measure.  Police report that it will more than likely take one day in order to get her car back simply because the pool must be drained.  Just to think, a simple mishap of the gas pedal had this woman flying high through the air and landing in a swimming pool.  Oh, the stories of the West.  Maybe it truly is “wild”.
