Indian cricket team continued their unbeatable run with record 9th consecutive test series win as the final game of 3 match series against Sri Lanka in Delhi resulted in a draw. The match started with the complete dominance of Indian batsmen over Lankan bowlers on the first day as they put up a massive total on the scoreboard in first innings. However, over the course of 5 days, we saw some fine performances from both sides, and Sri Lanka did not allow the hosts to finish the things they wanted.
There were many talking points during the match which attracted the attention of fans. We also got to see some additional drama on the field as the much-talked Delhi smog also came into play a role during the match. Indian skipper Virat Kohli refused to slow down as he scored yet another brilliant double hundred in the first innings. With his consistency and quench for scoring more and more runs, irrespective of oppositions, grounds, conditions, and formats, this man has impressed one and all. Run-machine Kohli who also declared the Man-of-the-series, went on to score a fifty in the second innings as well.
Rohit Sharma, Murli Vijay, and Ishant Sharma were also able to bring themselves in the headlines with their performances, as they were making a comeback with this series. We also saw Sri Lankan fielders wearing a mask on the 2nd day of the match, citing the breathing disorders due to the poor air quality of the capital city.
Trollers did not let go this chance and shared the pictures of different players feeling disturbed due to the Delhi smog. Well, social media users even found the stuff after some debating no-ball decisions in the match.
Tchah. Why declare? Kohli could have simply worn a mask and come to bat as Shami.

A few performances of rather a young team of Sri Lanka also garnered attention for showing resilience amid difficult conditions. Hundred by Dhananjaya De Silva in the second innings of Sri Lanka played a crucial role in keeping India away from the win in the game. Cricket experts also looked impressed by this young talent.
