When it comes to the Walt Disney’s Moana, there is so much to praise. It is literally a combination of only the best in the animation movie industry. Far from that, some things in it leave the fans thinking- “If I were the director, I would have done something better!”
Pua (the little piggy) is way better than Heihei (the chicken who likes eating rocks)
Everyone will definitely agree on this one. The little piggy is way cuter, funnier, and intelligent than Heihei. We would have enjoyed watching more of him. He should have been the one to come along during Moana’s voyage, which took up the larger part of the movie.
“Whatever just happened, blame it on the pig…” Really?! This was simply the most inconsiderate way of killing Pua’s character off the adventure! Needless to say, Pua appeared in sea scenes alongside Heihei in virtually all Walt Disney teaser images for Moana.
The movie fails to give a gratifying answer to this question. Multiple times, the sea fails to help Moana in life-threatening situations but would gladly participate in rib-tickler moments, especially after Moana finds Mawi.
You will all agree here- the directors mumbled with the ending here. At the beginning, Te Kā is introduced as a demon of earth and fire, who like Mawi, also sought the heart. The character is more of the villain and an equal rival to Mawi. How she suddenly turns into the island goddess at the end is questionable.
